The Texas HCS program is a Medicaid waiver program that was developed to open access to quality, individualized, consumer directed services and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Services are available to individuals living in their own home, family home, or with a paid companion or may also be provided to individuals living in small group homes with less than four persons.
