Eligibility Requirements
Adults and children who have been diagnosed with intellectual or developmental disability or a related condition who:
Meet the Intermediate Care Facility for Persons with Intellectual or Developmental Disability (ICF/IDD) Level of Care (LOC) 1 criteria.
Have had a determination of IDD in accordance with TX state law or been diagnosed by a qualified physician as having a related condition.
Choose the HCS Program over the ICF/IDD Program.
Require services that do not exceed the cost limits that are set by the regulations of the state of Texas.
Are eligible for supplemental security income (SSI) or be in one of the optional categorical coverage groups as specified in the HCS Waiver Renewal.
